The Expert Leaders’ Group

The ELG brings together current and former reserve bank governors and African financial leaders. They promote financial inclusion, harness digital innovation, and channel resources into women-owned businesses—ensuring women are central to Africa’s economic transformation.

New Faces New Voices (NFNV)

NFNV champions women’s inclusion at every level of the financial sector. By working with policymakers, governments, and the private sector, the network ensures financial systems are designed with women in mind. When women lead in finance, they shape Africa’s future, driving progress and resilience across economies.

GMT Clean Energy and Climate Action

This network places women and youth at the centre of Africa’s climate response and energy transition. By focusing on sustainable energy (SDG 7) and gender equality (SDG 5), it empowers innovators to design climate solutions that are equitable, resilient, and rooted in African

African Women in Agribusiness Network (AWAB)

AWAB takes women beyond subsistence farming into profitable businesses. By opening access to markets, resources, and training, it strengthens women’s role in agricultural value chains, enhancing food security and creating sustainable livelihoods.

Network for African Businesswomen (NABW)

NABW transforms associations of businesswomen into powerful hubs for entrepreneurship and job creation. It supports women and youth to grow sustainable ventures, strengthening Africa’s economic fabric and building futures of dignity and prosperity.

African Women in Media Network

This network reshapes how African women and children are represented in the media. By amplifying authentic voices and challenging outdated stereotypes, it reclaims Africa’s narrative—telling stories of resilience, innovation, and beauty.
