The Women Creating Wealth (WCW) programme works with women who have been in business for two or more years. It has cycles when applications are open – please keep an eye on our social pages and the WCW website for announcements.

For your request to be considered, please include the following information:
- Name of event
- Venue and logistical details
- Date and time of event (even if they’re estimates)
- A concept note outlining how you envision the event to unfold, objectives, expected outcomes and other dignitaries/ key guests that will be part of the event
- Overview of your organisation and what you do
- Outline why you would like the Trust to be part of / participate in the event. Your request will be assessed by the leadership of the Trust and the appropriate party will respond to you.

The Trust has headquarters in Johannesburg, South Africa and a satellite office in Kenya. The Trust also runs programmes in various countries and has networks in 20 countries on the African continent. Find out where we work here.
As a non-profit organisation, the Trust gets its funding from donor partners and is not able to offer grants/open funding to other organisations.
As a non-profit organisation, the Trust does not offer loans, grants, or finance businesses. Our programmes are designed support skills development so that women in business know how to access various funding opportunities.
The Graça Machel Trust does not currently offer scholarships or financial assistance to students. However, we recommend exploring other organisations or initiatives that may provide such opportunities.

- Which programme / leader you would like to focus on
- Objective of the interview
- Which channel/publisher/platform you represent
- If it’s an interview request, please include the following for it to be considered:
- Short bio of the proposed interviewer
- Proposed interview dates and times (always provide more than one option)
- The show/programme/platform that the interview will be broadcast on
- Countries the interview will be broadcast to
- Brief description of the audience or if you have official organizational audience profile, you can share that.
- Donor partner – individuals and organisations who would like to financially support the work of the Trust.
