From bold business ideas to powerful stories of resilience and growth, the first round of the Women Creating Wealth Country Forum & Certification events brought together entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders from across Tanzania, Malawi, South Africa, and Zambia. A key highlight across all four countries was the certification of entrepreneurs who successfully completed various levels of the Women Creating Wealth Programme. Their journeys reflected the power of mentorship, coaching, peer support, and business development in helping women strengthen their enterprises and unlock new opportunities.

Tanzania Country Forum & Certification – women are no longer waiting for opportunities – they are creating wealth, building assets, and shaping the economy.
From Tanzania to Zambia, entrepreneurs shared stories of moving from informal operations to more structured businesses, improving systems, accessing finance, securing new markets, and creating jobs within their communities.

Malawi Country Forum & Certification – resilience, innovation, and consistency remain essential ingredients for entrepreneurial success.
In Malawi, Women Creating Wealth alumna Ngabaghila Chatata inspired participants with her journey from running a single business to building multiple ventures. In South Africa, entrepreneurs reflected on how the programme helped them strengthen leadership, financial management, and long-term business planning.

South Africa Country Forum & Certification – coaching, networks, and business support can help young people build sustainable businesses, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to economic growth.
Youth entrepreneurship featured prominently in both South Africa and Zambia, where discussions explored the opportunities and challenges facing young entrepreneurs and job seekers. Panellists highlighted the importance of mentorship, work experience, access to finance, and business support in helping young people build sustainable enterprises and contribute meaningfully to economic growth. The conversations reinforced the role of young entrepreneurs as drivers of Africa’s future prosperity.

Zambia Country Forum & Certification – strong ecosystems, strategic partnerships, and collective action in advancing women’s economic participation are key in creating pathways to sustainable wealth creation.
Women Creating Wealth alumni in Zambia highlighted how increased access to markets, finance, and capacity-building opportunities enabled them to grow their businesses with greater confidence and purpose. Across all four countries, a common message emerged: sustainable business growth begins with personal transformation.
While each country forum reflected unique local priorities, one message resonated across all four events: when women entrepreneurs are equipped with the right skills, networks, opportunities, and support systems, they do more than build successful businesses. They create jobs. They strengthen communities. They build wealth. And they help shape a more inclusive and resilient African economy.
