Who Can Participate
- Female Entrepreneurs aged 18–35 years.
- Citizens or residents of Kenya, Malawi, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, or Zambia.
- Must own a pre-existing business and have an idea to add value and generate profit within one week.
How the Challenge Works
- Activate Your Vision: Develop an idea that solves a real-world problem.
- Ignite Your MVP: Create or pre-sell a Minimum Viable Product or service offering.
- Propel to Market: Engage with customers through marketing, sales pitches, or online platforms.
Challenge stages
The Jump-Starter Challenge is designed to identify potential businesses that drive revenue growth and job creation in 2 stages;
- Stage 1: Ideation & Selection
- We will shortlist innovative businesses with a well-defined MVP and potential for growth through a rigorous screening process.
- Stage 2: Implementation & Validation
- Selected businesses undergo a one-week business sprint, testing their models in real-time to track revenue, market reach and job creation impact.
